Community Outreach

I believe music is a powerful force for connecting people and building community. That is why I am always eager to find ways to make classical music more accessible to the community and make classical concerts an inspiring and engaging part of a thriving cultural arts community.

Roti Roti Art Center of Buchana Summer Concert Series

The Roti Roti Art Center of Buchanan is a nonprofit organization that provides educational programs and displays the work of local artists in monthly gallery exhibitions. Founded in 2019, this concert series aims to find connections between visual and musical arts as well as make classical music more accessible to all members of the community. It is family-friendly, handicap accessible, and free to the public. For the Inaugural Concert Series, concerts were held in June, July, and August after public gallery exhibition receptions. Thus, the series introduces classical music to local neighborhoods where people can connect with each other through music and art.

Michiana Music For Food Concert Series

Music for Food is a musician-led initiative for local hunger relief founded in Boston in 2009. Now entering its twelfth season, the concert series has grown to include chapters in over 16 U.S. cities, additional collaborative concerts across the nation, and a growing international presence. The concerts raise resources and awareness in the fight against hunger, empowering any musicians who wish to use their artistry to further social justice.
